Victim Advocates provide services to participants in person or over the phone. These services include:
Safety planning and crisis counseling
Victim peer counseling
Court assistance, court accompaniment and injunction assistance
Referrals for child care, legal services and employment
Assistance filing for Victim’s Compensation and Relocation funds
All advocates are certified and able to provide any and all services to participants. A Bilingual Spanish-speaking Victim Advocate is available. In addition, we have a confidential language line available for all other non-English speaking participants and a TTY line for deaf participants.
