Shelter House Purses with a Purpose

A signature Shelter House event, Purses with a Purpose has become a must-attend annual shopping experience for ladies across the Emerald Coast.

Shoppers have the opportunity to select from hundreds of new and gently used purses up for sale or auction. Handbags from designers including Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Tory Burch and more will be available for purchase.

This year’s event kicks off with an opening party on Thursday, March 22 in the corner storefront across from Tommy Bahama at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Attendees will enjoy food from Grimaldi’s, craft cocktails by Timber Creek Distillery, craft brews by Grayton Beer Company, and fine wines. .

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and VIP tickets purchased in advance are $20. Tickets purchased at the door are $25.

Purses with a Purpose reopens on Friday, March 23 for “Handbags and Happy Hour” for guests to enjoy cocktails and the opportunity to shop through the handbag selection that remains after the auction. Saturday, the event will reopen from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with deep discounts on remaining merchandise, plus muffins, mimosas and free admission.
