Jeffrey Pendleton has lived in Fort Walton Beach since 1995 where he was assigned to Eglin AFB, 96th Civil Engineering Squadron. A native of Howland, Maine, he graduated from Eastern Maine Collage in 1990 with a Degree in Building Construction, a minor in Architectural Drafting and graduated from the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in 1992. Jeff served 4 years in the United States Air Force as a Fire Fighter/EMT assigned to the 96th Civil Engineering Squadron at Eglin AFB. In 1999 upon the completion of his enlistment, Jeff joined the DOD civilian work force as a firefighter assigned to Eglin AFB. He was promoted through the ranks and is currently a Captain with Eglin Fire Emergency Services, a National Registered EMT and a National Registered EMT Instructor. He has also served on the City of Fort Walton Beach Code Enforcement Board. Jeff has been active and involved in our community for many years and has participated in numerous organizations and activities such as the: Shelter House, Children’s Advocacy Center, Krimes Against Kids, Families First Network, Toys for Tots, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Emerald Coast Social Sports and is an American Heart Association certified CPR/AED instructor. Jeff’s wife, Christie, is an Administrator for a private school for special needs children in Fort Walton Beach. They have 3 children and 2 grandchildren, and are members of Wright Baptist Church.
